Near to the RACV Motorserve repair centre. 8.30am breakfast. Preferred in- house dining. Had double-egg scrambled eggs on toast and medium latte full cream no sugar. I am addicted to coffee. Has travelled around the world. I know coffee. The best coffee I have ever had in 32 years was from this restaurant. I didn't want to investigate into the reasons. Just enjoyed. So, if you love coffee and is around this area, do not miss the best coffee you may have in your life. If the milk, the water, the powder, the machine and the barrista are the same, the best coffee will be the outcome. Try mate. It is worth the 5min walk. After an year:- It is a long way from my home or work. But I make sure that I visit this cafe at least once as part of my holiday plans. Visited 4 times in one year. My review has not changed. The quality of the coffee, the service rendered and the ambience of the place remains the same. Best times to visit is any off-peak time. Being an industrial area, the place gets packed up other times; however the quality of their services remain the same.

I give them a 5 because out of all of the industrial area take-away spots in Derrimut the Salt And Pepper Cafe are amazing, have amazing food and run by the nicest people I’ve met. In the photo is a custom order of rice and chicken schnitzel along with a couple drinks and it only cost me $23 so I call that value! I’ve been working next door for a couple years and once or twice I go and choose something different because they have such a choice to choose from. Give them a go, I doubt you’ll be unsatisfied.

A friend recommended Salt and Pepper House to me, and I decided to visit with my family. We were in for a delightful surprise as the breakfast was simply exceptional. Everyone in the family thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience. The restaurant had a tranquil atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. What added to the charm was the friendly chat we had with the owners, which made us feel right at home.
